2020 Showcase: A Virtual Pivot in a Pandemic Year

July 31, 2020 • 2:00 PM

Originally planned as an in-person event, the 2020 Climate Stories Showcase took a creative turn in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Collaborative quickly pivoted to a virtual exhibition, hosted on Instagram at @ASUclimatestories, where student reflections on climate change were shared in a wide range of media—painting, sculpture, theatre, videography, photography, design, narrative nonfiction, poetry, and more.

This digital platform allowed us to continue amplifying student voices and creativity, even in a time of physical distance.

Special thanks to our 2020 showcase sponsors: the College of Fine and Applied Arts, and the Departments of ArtCommunicationSustainable Development, and Theatre and Dance

We also extend our gratitude to graphic design major Hannah Labate for her outstanding design work. View our lovely Climate Stories Showcase 2020 Digital Exhibition Poster.
